Biography

Fumiko Negishi was born in 1970 in Tokyo. She grew up in a family dedicated to the teaching of art, so her passion for it emerged at a very early age. In 1994, she won the honorary prize for engraving in the National Chalcography of Spain and in 1995 she won the prize for the new artist. In 2002 she exhibited her work at ARCO at the hand of Galeria Madrileña and in 2010 she exhibited at KIAF, International Art Fair in Korea. In July 2016, she had another exhibition in the collection of the Nirasaki-Oomura Museum in Japan and in February 2017 she had another one in Valencia at Galeria Cuatro.
